There's some good clearance items at BedBathandBeyond.com right now. Here are some of the things that caught my eye and seemed like they might be a good deal.
There are quite a few different 5-piece Kitchen Towel Sets on clearance for $4.99 (these and these). If you know someone who will be moving into a new place or a couple getting married these might make a nice housewarming or wedding gift.
I also love these beautiful frames! They're on clearance right now for $14.99. There are a few different ones to choose from, this one that is for family, one for grandkids (would make a great gift for the grandparents), and a children one (maybe a good mother's day or father's day gift?).
Sea themed wall art for $2.99
Dishes that are priced from $0.99 to $1.99
Mosaic Candle Holders Centerpiece for $7.49 - I have something similar to this that I purchased at T.J. Maxx for quite a bit more and it's really pretty.
There are lots of other items too (44 pages worth). I don't know the regular retail prices for these items so I don't know how great of a deal they are but some things seem like they're marked down pretty low. There's a large variety of items too from bedding, curtains, and bath linens to dog beds, strollers, and play pens. Shipping and tax will be applied to your order unless you are purchasing an item that specifically states that it ships free (I did see a few).

Just a reminder that today is the last day to print coupons from the Rite Aid website through the Video Values program. Starting tomorrow there will be a new list of coupons for April. Free Suave Professionals Product on Facebook
Suave was offering a free Suave Professionals product for the first 200,000 of their Facebook fans. I'm not sure if there are any of these still available or not but it wouldn't hurt to check it out.
Also, you can earn coupons for free Suave products by playing the Can You Tell game. If you successfully choose which model used Suave vs. Salon products you can earn 2 coupons for free Suave Professionals products. If you correctly guess all 8 you may win free products for a year. I had a hard time running this in Chrome but it worked okay in IE. This is also pretty time consuming so make sure you have some free time when you sit down to do this.

Ways to Earn Rewards Online - MyPoints.com
There are many websites that allow you to earn points towards rewards with minimal time and effort. One of my favorites is MyPoints.com. Through MyPoints you earn points for doing what you already do online: shopping, reading emails, playing games, searching the web, taking surveys, and more.
Here's the way it works. First, you'll need to go to the MyPoints website and sign up. Once you're signed up you'll start receiving email offers. I usually receive 2 to 6 emails a day. Yes, they are advertisements, however, they will offer points when you either sign up for a service or a certain amount of points for every dollar you spend at that particular website. Even if you are not interested in what they are advertising, most of the emails offer 5 points when you simply click on the link and visit the advertised website, this is where the majority of the points I have earned come from.
Occasionally you'll also receive offers to take surveys and earn points for your time. Even if you don't qualify for the survey you'll still receive points (usually 10) just for trying. Whether or not I take the surveys often depends on the time I have available. If you do qualify for the survey you can usually earn 75 points but they can be quite lengthy and time consuming.
The best way to earn points is by shopping. Just for logging into your MyPoints account and then searching the company you wish to buy from you may be rewarded by earning points for every dollar you spend. You may find that the company you wish to purchase from is not affiliated with MyPoints but so many of them are that it's worth the few seconds it would take to check. I earned over 7,000 points recently for going through the MyPoints website to get to the Home Depot website to order the new washer and dryer I had picked out in the store. I paid the same price, still got the free home delivery, free old appliance haul away, but I earned enough points with that can be redeemed for a $50 gift certificate.
Unless you do a lot of online shopping your points may not accumulate quickly, however, since I joined in 2007 I have earned over 21,000 points which is enough for approximately $150 in gift certificates. For the two minutes it takes me every day to click on a few links in the emails I receive, it's basically free money and I like free money.

Shopping CVS 101
Now that I'm comfortable with shopping Rite Aid and using the rewards and sales they offer to my advantage. I'm going to branch out a bit and see what kind of deals I can get at CVS. The CVS rewards program seems to be pretty similar to Rite Aid so it shouldn't be too difficult to master.
CVS has the Extra Care Card which is the basis of their reward program. The Extra Care Card allows you to take advantage of their Extra Care Buck (ECB) program and also receive in store coupons from their coupon printer. You can sign up for the Extra Care Card at the register and receive it immediately or through the CVS website but you'll have to wait for it to come in the mail. If you got your card in the store you can go onto the CVS website to register it so that you can see your account online and CVS will often email you valuable coupons such as $4 off a $20 purchase.
Extra Care Bucks are the CVS equivalent to Rite Aid's +UP rewards. They are CVS exclusive coupons that can be used like money toward your next purchase. ECB can be earned in a few different ways:

Extra Care Bucks are the CVS equivalent to Rite Aid's +UP rewards. They are CVS exclusive coupons that can be used like money toward your next purchase. ECB can be earned in a few different ways:
- ECBs can be earned by purchasing certain products. In the CVS flyer you might see "Buy this product and receive $ in ECB." When you purchase that product (or however many of that product specified in the ad) the ECB will automatically print out at the bottom of your receipt.
- ECBs can be earned by purchasing a certain dollar amount of a particular product/products. For example "Spend $15 get $5 ECB when you purchase select drinks and snacks."
- You do not have to purchase all the products for that particular promotion all at one time as long as all purchases are made within the promotion period. By using your Extra Care Card, CVS will track the purchases that go toward this promotion and once you've satisfied the requirements your ECB will print out with your receipt.
- The amount you need to spend is always calculated before any coupons are applied so by stacking your coupons with the promotion you could actually end up getting things very cheaply, for free, or in some instances actually MAKE money.
- CVS also rewards their customers but giving them 2% of the total amount they spent back in ECB at the end of each quarter. This is calculated on the total spent after coupons and will print at the bottom of your receipt just like all other ECBs.
- $1 ECB is earned for every two prescriptions that are filled at CVS so make sure to always have the pharmacy scan your card.
CVS has a great little red machine near the front of their stores and you'll always want to visit this first thing before you start your shopping. This little machine scans your Extra Care Card and spits out valuable store coupons.

Organizing your Coupons
So far, in my couponing endeavors, the most challenging thing has been trying to keep my coupons organized. I have so many different types of coupons accumulating that it's hard to keep them all organized in a way that I can effectively use them. I have newspaper inserts, coupons that I've printed, coupons that have come in the mail, ones I've picked up in stores, etc.
At first I was keeping them in big stacks. I would write the date on the front of the newspaper inserts so I could find a certain coupon easily when it is referenced in one of the blogs or websites I frequent. This got old really quickly. The piles started to get mixed together and it became a big mess.
My second attempt was using envelopes. Being a new couponer I'm still learning which coupons are better than others and will get me the best deals, until I have a good grasp on that I've been saving all the coupons from my Sunday papers. In my envelope attempt I was cutting out every coupon from the inserts and putting them in an envelope labeled with the date and the name of the insert. As I'm sure you can guess, this became incredibly tedious.
In my latest attempt I'm using post-it notes and page protectors. I write the date of the paper that the insert came in and then put it in a page protector that is then put into a large binder. I also put coupons I've printed, rebate forms, and all my other coupons into the page protectors. This seems like the easiest way to keep them organized and uses minimal effort so I'm not endlessly cutting out coupons that I may or may not use.
In addition to this I keep a small accordion file in my purse. Each store I regularly frequent (Hannaford, Rite Aid, etc) has a slot so when I make out my shopping list for each place and organize my coupons there's a place for them to go to keep them separated and organized.
Here are some other approaches that may work for you -

Here are some other approaches that may work for you -
- Separating coupons into envelopes by product type (meat, beauty products, soaps & detergents, etc.). Once they're in the respective envelopes, keep them in a shoe box or small plastic tote. Another alternate to the envelope method is to sort them by the month that they expire so you can quickly dispose of those that are no longer current.
- Use an accordion file and separate the coupons just as we discussed above. Keep the first file empty and use it to store the coupons you plan to use on your next shopping trip. Make sure to purchase (or make) one with file tabs that you can label with product types or month.
- Use an index card file box and either buy or make cardboard dividers to separate the coupons.
You can also organize coupons in alphabetical order by product name using any of the above methods.

Rite Aid Video Values
At the end of February I wrote about Rite Aid and all the different types of reward programs they offer. One of them being the video values on their website. You can go here to refresh your memory or take a peak if you missed it the first time.
One thing that I think is worth mentioning about these video reward coupons is that Rite Aid changes them every month but the coupons often don't expire at the end of that month. What I have started doing is when I have some free time and I'm just vegging out on the couch, I watch as many of them as I can (or am interested in) even if I don't intend to buy the product right away. That way I have at least earned the coupon so that if a great sale comes up in the month following I can benefit.
A great example of this is on Band-Aids and Neosporin this month. At Rite Aid this week if you purchase $10 worth of Johnson & Johnson Wound Care, Band-Aid, or Neosporin products (remember this is before any coupons are applied), you'll receive $5 in +UP rewards back. In the February Video Values I earned two coupons, $1.50 off one Band-Aid AND one Neosporin together and another for $0.50 off a Band-Aid product OR Neosporin product. These are Rite Aid coupons that can then be stacked with any manufacturers coupons you might have. In the 2/13 Red Plum coupon insert there was a manufacturers coupon for $1.50 off when you buy a Band-Aid and Neosporin product together as well. I have been buying multiple newspapers so I have two of those coupons. So here's what the transaction will look like:

Buy (2) Band Aid Bandages (10-80 ct)
Buy (2) Neosporin Ointments (0.5 oz)
Use (2) $1.50 off both from 1/9 or 2/13 RP
Plus use $1.50 Band Aid and Neosporin Feb Video Values coupon (if you watched it)
Plus use 50c Band Aid or Neosporin Feb Video Values coupon (if you watched it)
Pay $6.96 and get $5 Up Reward
Total: $0.49

The actual prices here are just an estimation. I'll come back and edit it once I have a chance to go shopping and know for sure what the exact prices will be.
I don't know how or why but my husband uses an abnormal amount of Band-Aids and Neosporin so I'll definitely be taking advantage of this.
